Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer vacancies: An Assistant Treasurer is needed. Also our Treasurer is stepping down from the post. She feels that there is too much work and responsibility for one person. She also believes there is something wrong with the computer program used or the way it has been set up. There will be a flyer going out to all of the groups asking for a volunteer for both positions, as the treasurer does not want this to be a lengthy process finding a new one.
Gratitude Night: It was decided that books will be given to the newest members as prizes.

The school talks have stalled for the summer due to difficulty matching up dates for meetings. A greater effort will be made in the Fall.
Fellowship Weekend: We are sponsoring lunch and supper on Saturday. We will share a room with not beds with Minneapolis Information. We approved the spending of $145 and $25 for the room and bed. This is an Al-Anon/Alateen event with AA participation. We will be selling Literature and providing food. Volunteers are needed to help set up the food and for $ donations. Contact the office for more information.
South Area Liaison: The liaison to the South Area Assembly is resigning.
Mailing Chairperson: A vote was taken to add a new chairperson in charge of doing all of the intergroup mailings.
Mailing: The person who has been doing the mailing will continue until she can find a replacement.
Literature: A problem recently came up when the chair tried to order some items off the internet and couldn’t without a credit card. Suggestions for a solution are needed.
A special Forum directly geared towards Professionals is being offered in large numbers with orders being due by Aug. 1. We voted to order a quantity to give out to as many professionals and institutions as possible.
Office manager: She will bring in some small tablets for taking notes. Ink cartridges for the printer need to be ordered or purchased.
Alateen: The new group starting in Mahtomedi at St. Andrew’s Church has not started due to a lack of sponsors. The Central Park Alateen group has started but so far only one teen has attended.
